Momentum

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

The short version

Momentum collects nothing. Your tasks live on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. There is no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no account to create. We never see your data.

Your data

Tasks, projects, areas, tags, and everything else you create in Momentum are stored in a local database on your device. You can use the app entirely offline.

iCloud sync

Momentum syncs through Apple's CloudKit to the private iCloud database tied to your Apple ID. That data is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and is accessible only to you. Epsilon Limited Solutions has no access to it and operates no servers of its own.

Calendar access

If you grant calendar access, Momentum reads your calendar to show events alongside your tasks and writes events you create from the app. Calendar data never leaves your device.

Optional AI features

Momentum includes an optional, off-by-default AI triage feature that requires your own Anthropic API key. When you invoke it, the titles and notes of the tasks being triaged are sent to Anthropic's API under your key and Anthropic's privacy terms. If you never configure a key, nothing is ever sent.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be called out in release notes.
